Anointing with Oil was done many times in the Bible and it was done as described normally with the laying on of hands. So why do we not hear about this in today's times? Outdated? Useless? Unknown understanding? Does the Death of Christ have bearing on it? What use does the Holy Spirit play in it? What were the reasons it was used?
These are many of the questions we may all have in one form or another. Therefore as with the future of this blog I am asking questions that create an interest in learning and understanding of something we may or may not be uninformed about. I ask starting here going forward, if you have an opinion or a thought or even another question added to the other questions above, please give the opinion whole hearted without fear.(2 Corinthians 1: 24 Not for that we have dominion(authority) over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.) Please prove your thoughts Biblicaly, so that others may understand more of what God intends and not what you think it should entail.
